| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked at the Table Rock Climbing Trail on route 26. Parking area on is on a slope and a bit washed out, but manageable. There is also parking down the hill about 100 yards near the Balsams main entrance, which is also the west end of the Sanguinary Ridge trail. |

| Comments: |
I chose the straight up and scrambly trail to Table Rock. Sat on the end of this very narrow precipice, a sphincter clenching experience. Huntington Cascades quite interesting with its steep ledge sides - a frequent feature of this area. Completed the loop by crossing the road and going over the Sanguinary Ridge trail, which has numerous spectacular views through both ends of the Notch. One can sit on these remarkable rock spires which drop straight down. Foliage at or near peak. Not too long a loop, but to me a one of a kind spot. The Cohos Trail maps cover it pretty well. |
