had not been on the Bald Cap Ledges spur trail (new trail cut by Shelburne Trail Club)so we decided to car spot to get some exercise in...up Austin Brook to Dryad Fall (the fall was very dry not much to see)then hit Dream Lake (plenty of moose and beaver sign but no sightings)..then to Bald Cap Ledges..nice view at the time into Maine and over to Moriahs, everything else was clouding over with snow showers...good workout as the trails, while not overly steep, seem to be going up most of the time!!! |
