Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Three water crossings on the York Pond Trail - first one is via a board and submerged log over a concrete spillway about 1/4 mile from the start of the YPT, second and third one together needed to balance on some logs that were put in the stream. Lots of running water!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: York Pond Trail a few step overs and one under. Kilkenny Ridge absolutely devastated in some locations, looks like Irene did major tree damage. Lost trail a few times trying to bushwack around blowdowns.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw no dogs today, would be challenging to keep them dry with all of the mud and streams!
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Trail finding in between North and Middle col was tough, look for the pink flagging on the trees. Don't take the path of least resistance since you need to climb over some blowdowns to find your way
