Today, the snow was minimal and there was hardly any ice (so no traction required), but winter conditions are approaching and microspikes might be helpful in the coming days and weeks.
It's a great hike, but beware of windy, wintry conditions above treeline, especially on the very exposed summit of Moosilauke. Beautiful day for this one! |
