The Cross Rivendell Trail from Baker Road was in excellent shape. There was evidence of recent trail maintenance. I only hiked a short segment of Mt. Cube Trail to connect with the North Peak Slide Trail. Both trails were in overall good shape.
Throughout the route, there were a few minor muddy spots here and there. And, on the day of this hike, there were some icy spots at upper end of trail. However, with careful foot placement, all could be easily negotiated without the need for traction devices such as Microspikes.
Mt. Cube's South Peak and North Peak were both visited on this trek. A few snapshots are at my BLOG (see link below).
