Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The Whiteface River crossing was sketchy, but after some searching, managed to cross slightly downstream. Also where the rail grade crosses the beaver meadow, we had to bushwhack around, would have been well nigh impossible (without wading) if it wasn't for the frozen ground. All other crossings were fairly easy hops, with some icy rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some stepovers along the loop, but nothing major. Also some decent mud in spots.

Comments
Comments: A brisk day to knock this trail off my redline list, with my friend Amie joining me. The trail was beautiful, with some muddy sections, and offered up gorgeous views from many different vantage points along the pond. Saw many logging railroad artifacts at the shelter, and along the trail at points, with one lengthy section of rail. So cool. Descended to Bennett Street trailhead and walked the ~2.9 miles back to Whiteface Intervale Road. A great way to end my workweek!
