Comments
Comments: 1"-2" fresh powder on a packed base. Lower two thirds of the trail was great footing and easy with snowshoes. Beyond the rock ledges it became icy with less snow cover and windblown. Light traction would have been ok here and probably been a better choice as I broke the toe of one binding but they were old and probably would have been broken on another trail anyway.
