Super hike on a late start busy day. Our Plan B hike given Rattlesnake's parking lot had room for just 1 car and was taken. There's a snowmobile trail paralleling/criss crossing the hiking trail and while there were occasional exhaust fumes the motorized traffic wasn't too bad. Nice views at the top of Plymouth Mt (albeit with those windmills) and over the Baker River Valley to Squam Lake and the Crawford Ridgepole range. Thank you to whomever already packed down the trail. Great to grab a peak before the rains came. |
