Comments
Comments: Wore microspikes from start to finish. On upper sections of Carter Dome trail there is a trace of snow in some areas and 3-4 inches in other areas. Heading up to Carter Dome snowshoes would have been better as we were walking on deep fluff snow and it was a lot of work. The Carter Moriah trail up to Mt. Hight from Carter Dome could use some TLC. No one has been there with snowshoes so there are old postholes and foot prints everywhere. Use caution. Great day until the ride home in the snowstorm.
