Comments
Comments: Went up to attempt Adams and Jefferson, but bit off more than we could chew. Airline was solidly broken out up to Short Line, which was tracked but not solid. Once Randolph Path splits off, Short Line and King Ravine Trail were unbroken. 2-4" of light powder that was easy to hike through. Put on crampons at Mossy Fall, as we climbed up to the floor of the ravine. There is so little snow in the ravine, that it made our climb fairly treacherous. Picking our way between and over boulders, with snow in the gaps, concealing big drops. Took far too long to reach Airline, and with the sun starting to set, we decided to skip Adams and descend (even though we could see it). Ran into Micah on our descent, who Mike and I met in March last year, so awesome! Thanks to Mike and Stefanie for the day, and Happy Birthday to Stefanie!
