Comments
Comments: No snow for a mile, then quickly filled in. MICROspikes necessary. Followed Gulfside up from saddle then turned towards summit on ample and very pleasant snowfields. Snowfields are only firm place now. Took Valley Way down. Followed fresh tracks down stream from hut, and didn't cut over to the trail quick enough. Followed tracks for almost half mile in firm snow, avoiding open waterfalls in stream, then decided to angle up to Valley Way.
