Comments
Comments: There is a packed out trail at the cul-de-sac to the jct. of the regular Stoney Brook trail. I expected a frozen trail but still carried my snowshoes. If you do this hike this week you can leave them in the car. I barebooted to the summit. The trail is well packed like a highway with no ice and I did not need any traction, but some will feel more secure with microspikes.
