 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
i was able to drive to and park at the summer trailhead on lower doe town road. i get the impression it may not always be accessible in winter and parking about .3 back at the intersection with cross road is the alternative. |

the trail looked to have been travelled mostly by skis and bareboots as of late so the track was narrow, but solid. after coinciding briefly with the snowmobile trail the trail beyond was only skied, real narrow and not particularly snowshoe friendly so i stuck with the snowmobile trail up to the summit which made for a nice ascent.
i wore snowshoes the whole hike.
nice hike up stinson. though cloudy in the morning at home it was all sun and blue skies by the time i got up to the rumney area. a great day to enjoy the limited, but nice views from around the summit. great to be out.
