Comments
Comments: Excellent hike. Very wintry/windy/low vis and icy on the summit - wanted to head northbound but didn't want to spend time trailfinding under those conditions to headed to the Ranger's Cabin and down the south side. Main trails well-broken out; trail to Orange Mtn had very deep snow (unbroken). After an out and back on that trail, it is not well-consolidated but at least you can follow it. Some very deep drifts on the uphill sections. Crossed many animal tracks on that section and saw a moose there - yay! Lots of skier traffic all over the summit ledges.
