Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Says no parking for plow turnaround, so I parked a tenth of a mile down the road at a pulloff. However, there were cars at the trail head when I got back.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow - Spring Snow
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I thought about doing a side trip to Guinea pond, but there is a hard crossing. Doable, but not worth it to me for the pond. May become impassable. No problems on an trail I used for this loop.
Trail Maintenance Notes

Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The only other hiker I saw turned around 1/4 of a mile up Wentworth because her small dog would not make a crossing. No problem for people and most dogs that are used to small crossings.

Comments
Comments: Wentworth was very well packed out to the summit. Still should use snowshoes as it is soft in places. Mead trail had not been touched. The snow was very soft and I was frequently sinking above the knee. On average I was sinking 8in. on the decent. The trail was fairly obvious to follow. Guinea pond trail was broken out by snowmobiles except for a short section where the snowmobile trail and the hiking trail do not coincide. The road walk was snowmobile broken. Bear camp river trail was broken out. Beede falls were nice.

I was a little disappointed not to get views from the top as it did clear up in the late morning/early afternoon. Still a great hike.
