Comments
Comments: Little follow up to Gypsy Hiker and RJW's reports. Old Bridal Path (and probably Liberty Spring) are not smooth tracks as of 4-12 afternoon. Only saw one snowshoer other than RJW and self. OBP was like a XC trail with 3-6" boot trenches most of the way. Surprised that center of trail was solid and supporting foot traffic. Probably safer without snowshoes as trenches and holes may be quite awkward on OBP. Snowshoes highly recommended for FRT between Liberty and Little Haystack. Beautiful day; views, sun, temps (tshirt at times), lots of hikers out.
