Comments
Comments: Great weather with blue skies and little wind until reaching tree line when it was moderate. Trails snow covered all the way and still fairly firm although potholing was common on Carriage road. Wore spikes all the way up and used snowshoes for part of the descent due to softening snow. Made much better time with snowshoes. Summit had great views and only a half dozen folks at 11:00. Passed several groups coming up on our descent. Had fun butt sliding through the steeps from Carriage road junction down Glencliff! Thanks to DOC for their great work on this trail and mountain.
