Excellent. Wapak blazes looked like they had just been painted. |

Dogs are permitted in Miller State Park. There were many, and a good time was had by all! |

Hadn't been here in at least 13 years! Arrived early, not many cars in lot. Took Marion Davis up. One mud patch there, most was dry with good footing. Nice views through the trees, as there are no leaves yet. Hung out at the summit for quite a while. Down Wapak, upper section still has patches of ice and snow, which I found manageable without spikes. Good choice for spring hiking and only 70 minutes from home!
Wet areas hardly worth a mention. |
