Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking area in good condition and plenty of room. Only a few cars all day. 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Wet rock hopping on Brook crossings. Slightly easier brook crossing conditions via Drakes Brook Trail. Boots will get slightly wet.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Sandwich Mtn Trail: Snow and a few icy sections. Only microspikes needed. Frozen monorail. Brook crossing slightly challenging but doable using poles. Drakes Brook Trail: As day warmed up, some shallow postholing. Only microspikes needed. Brook crossing easier on this side. Use poles.
