Comments
Comments: Davis Path started out dry trail, but quickly turned to monorail and then packed spring snow. I barebooted to the Crawford spur and then switched to shoes. For the most part there was enough snow to stay in snowshoes all the way to stairs col tr the exception being a few ledgy areas that were bare. Snowshoes highly recommend as I could see where a barebooter postholed to thigh several times.

I descended the stairs colt tr to a point were I had a good field baring on the east peak. Lots of bare sections alternating with deep snow made me need to swich between bareboots and shoes a few times. Thick in places. Not enough snow to follow tracks out so I navigated back, hitting the trail a little lower than my start point.

True summit of Resolution is a very interesting destination. There is a pond just below the summit. I found the cairn in a tree that Rocket21 deemed high point. More snow on this whack, so I was able to follow tracks out.
