Great hike, even if it was overcast. Up Marion Davis (only a few muddy spots; nothing that couldn't be walked through with hiking boots) and down Wapack (dry; rocks were slippery due to the light rain). Took shelter during a light rain/snow shower in the shelter at the summit. Great place to eat lunch and listen to the rain on the metal roof. If you're doing this hike definitely look up the trail map and summit lookout map on the NH state park website (http://www.nhstateparks.org/explore/state-parks/miller-state-park.aspx). |
