| Comments: |
Only my second day out this Spring ( I don't winter hike!) and it was cloudy, misty and cold with not a view to be seen. However Mt.Israel is good intro for a newbie hiker who enjoyed it despite the lack of views. Had to use microspikes on long areas of ice and monorail for the top half mile. As this trail is used by so many inexperienced hikers I would hope WODC might blaze it a little better before the summer rush. |
