Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Mud - Significant, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes, Slush, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes: all crossings are open

Trail Maintenance Notes: a few blowdowns easily climbed over. one broken sign at the hut. big time running & standing water on the trail.

Comments: hike up to the hut was pleasant. monorail was fairly firm although VERY narrow in the morning. i don`t`think snowshoes would`ve worked. on the way down in the afternoon, the trails were awful. MUSH,SLUSH and MUD. I went up to my ankles in mud a few times.
