Comments
Comments: The beginning of the trail was nice and dry... Snow started shortly after the 2nd water crossing. All water crossing were very doable rock hopping with dry feet….Reaching the Summit of Mt. Avalon, there were superb views of the Presidentials...great spot to relax enjoy the views and have lunch….Trail going from Avalon to Filed was in very good condition (The tree that holds the sign that shows the trail is down, be careful to not miss the trail), Monorail in stable condition, however snowshoes were a must…..lots of branches in your face, Sun glasses or glacier glasses recommended….Summit of Field the views were quite strong as well with a very friendly Blue Jay to grant you as you arrive…Coming down was quite slippery even with snowshoes on….It was a great Day to be out with great Mountain views
