Comments
Comments: Came down Falling waters and it was not easy (specially if you were not flexible to bend and reach your step to a lower stable area). We met many coming up without any type of traction and they were wet, some with scrapes from sliding. They relied on pulling tree branches. One couple (woman had Mary Jane's on her feet, he had some kind of sneaker), we advised them to turn around about 1/2 mile from top, but we assume they did not because we never saw them coming down. Younger hikers did not seem to mind having their feet wet, scrapes, etc.
River crossings were not easy, but they were doable.
