Parking/Access Road Notes: At 3:00 PM I checked in with the caretaker to ask if the gate would be shut. He said yes, it would be shut at 4:00 but not locked until 10:00 (I have no idea if this is always the case). When I left a little after 6:00 the gate was not shut.

Comments
Comments: This is a nice trail. There were a few boggy sections, but nothing too bad. Next to no snow or ice. Great small peak.

A few guys who camped at Roger's Ledge reported that they had to turn around trying to get up the horn due to knee deep snow. They had trail running shoes and no snowshoes. Maybe bring shoes if you are going, but it shouldn't be much longer
