Our quest to stand at every site where a fire tower stands, once stood or was proposed, brought us to Mt Shaw, #52 for us on the NH Fire Tower List. It is also on 52 with a view and the Ossipee 10 Hiking List. We did a loop that included Big Ball Mountain and Black Snout Mountain. We located 3 different Geocaches and searched for the Sacrificial Stone. The views were great as was the weather.
