On our continuing quest to stand where a fire tower is standing, once stood or was proposed brought us to Smarts Mountain, elev 3832', in Lyme, NH. It was #53 out of 92 for us. We went up the Lambert Ridge Trail and came down the Smarts Ranger Trail. There was a dead moose on the trail near the summit. This mountain is also on 52 with a View list.
We did post a video on YouTube of our adventure for anyone who might be interested in seeing our hike. Just click the link... |
