Comments
Comments: I parked my car on railroad spur just before it turns up hill. I could see the summit windmill, which made the summit look closer than it was. I took a bearing on the tower and bushwhacked up, following herd paths, until towards the top where it was steep and a little thick. Came out right at the tower. As I think bryan said, it is surreal to pop out at such a huge piece of equipment. I simply followed the inverse of my bearing to return. My adherence to the heading prevented me from benefiting form as many herd paths, but put me right at my car.
