| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are quite a few wet/soft/muddy stretches on both trails and the result is trail widening, sometimes very wide. Webster Slide at the top of the steepest sections looks like it is nearing blowout? I took out a couple of small blowdowns but someone had gotten the biggies before me. There are a couple broken good sized trees but the tops are still being help up somehow despite the wind. Trash in the fire pit at Webster Slide'e view. Trail sign for the Webster Slide Trail merely says Webster Mtn 1 Mile. It is at a 4 way intersection. There was another trail much closer to the trailhead off 25C that intersected Washipauka but I don't see it on the AMC maps. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
The mighty tough little dog had to be reminded to stay out of the muck but when he hears a chippie he kind of forgets. He needs to study with Atticus. |

None. |

| Comments: |
Late afternoon hike but still no sun, plenty of wind and spits of snow. But there were views, the trail was easy on the knee and being in the woods without bugs and heat+humidity is always nice. Not surprisingly we saw no one else; and contrary to the sign no touristes at the Mist viewpoint. |
