Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking for probably 4 cars at the Centennial Trail trailhead. No parking along Hogan Road at the Mahoosuc Trail, though there is a spot or two further down the road. Hogan Road itself is pretty rough, though passable, a high clearance vehicle is probably recommended.

Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Minor crossings on this route, all easy hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Nothing crazy, I think just one old stepover on Centennial Trail. Some badly eroded and massively muddy sections of the Mahoosuc Trail, especially beyond Mt. Hayes. Most of these sections were flagged for new waterbars/repair.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Pretty gnarly along Centennial Trail, as long as we were moving, they weren't bad. Better at elevation, only a few buzzing around on the south ledges. Absolutely horrible on our roadwalk, midges in the face the whole way. Can we have fall and winter back please?!

Comments
Comments: A very hot and humid day to hit this 52WAV peak. Smooth sailing the whole way, except for the aforementioned muddy spots along the Mahoosuc Trail, and the voracious bugs. Better to be out and hiking, than stuck working, or otherwise suffering.
