Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Looks like High Ridge Trail is maintained and mowed. Mt. Faraway and Cold Spring trails suffer from trail marker overdoes.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: First was a well-behaved owner who leashed her dog. Second was a well behaved, mellow golden.
Bugs
Bugs: Variable. Loaded up on Ben's 100%, double shot. Annoying for the first 300 vertical feet. Non-existent from there to the summit of Mt. BFs became pesky on top of Mt. Faraway, but were not biting, just swarming. Must have been guys out drinking... Pesky and swarming on the way down. Occasional Mosquito.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: nothing lost, nothing gained.

Comments
Comments: Took the entire loop, 9.5 miles. Top portion of the trail, extremely gentle with hardly any rocks. Grassy. Quite leisurely. Very easy pitch on that side, but longer. Pretty much nobody on that side, made for a relaxing end of the day.
