Plenty of parking at U.S. border - NOTE: no longer need to sign-in at border - sign is very clear that you just park and hike... there are cameras aimed directly at the trail. I carried my passport but did not need it. |

Very brushy in places along the U.S./Canada border - some ferns were chest-high. Also some prickers. Muddy spots along the loop trail. |

no dogs but saw dog pawprints!!!! |

none on the way but flies around the loop trail |

NICE to finally hike the loop trail!!! VERY hot along the border - in the hot sun!!! Also, some of the steep rocks are very slippery even when dry - be careful!!!!
