Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking at the 19 mile brook trailhead was plentiful. No issues.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossing was necessary with the wildcat river trail 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blazes were pretty scarce on the rainbow trail and wildcat river trails 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We saw many dogs, all of which seemed to be having fun! 
Bugs
Bugs: Plenty of little gnats, flies and few biting mosquitoes. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost and only a few scraps of litter found (and hiked out). 
 
Comments
Comments: We stayed at the AMC Carter Notch Hut for two nights and had a wonderful time! Kudos to the Croo, Becky as Hutmaster, Luke as assistant Hutmaster and Abagail as naturalist. The food was great and the company was outstanding!
