Water Crossing Notes: The first crossing of the Clear Brook was a little tricky today (didn't want to get wet feet right out of the gate). For what it's worth, the gauge for the E. Branch was running at 200-500 cfs today.

Comments: I had been to Whaleback before, but decided a loop hike to Flume would be a nice outing. And the views from Whaleback seem somewhat unique... for example, a fine view of Scar Ridge. We played the weather well...nice day out with Larry Yetter & Dan Senneville
