Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the end of Pond of Safety Road at the Pond of Safety turnaround - several firepits to avoid in the turnaround tho :) Access road has short drainages that are like speed bumps.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes: rock-hoppable but very muddy banks - lots of little river crossings 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of new trailwork (bog bridges mostly) along Underhill and Four Soldiers - NICE!!!! You know it's boggy when a big snapping turtle is laying eggs in the mud between bog bridges!!!

Dog-Related Notes: didn't see any, but, plenty of water!

Bugs: didn't need bug dope tho there were flies or maybe deer flies

Comments: Nice little loop not really well-described in the White Mountain Guide - a little obscure in places but I never lost the trail - all intersections are clearly marked.

Saw several people. Other than a couple of outlooks and some nice woods, this is probably a "once and done" for me!!!! Some of the grass was pretty high on the Four Soldiers Path.
