Comments
Comments: FR304A gets grown over this time of year but the path is well walked and easy to follow to the small cairn that indicates the beginning of the herd path up to the ridge. From there to the ridge the path is mostly easy to follow but we did loose it occasionally. Just below the ridge the path gets very difficult. Although short, just over 4 miles, this is not a trail for the average hiker. The ridge walk up to the Peak, has some blow downs but the trail is not hard to follow. Total time for this hike was 4hrs. 40mins. with a vertical gain of about 2200'. There are fine views to be had just beyond the summit canister.
