the extension of lamms trail is wet and ferny and has tall grass. after the big open area I went right at fork which was ok, but took me up to SOUTH SPRUCE! it even had a jar which was broken and the entries were soaked. b'wacked toward east thru some thick junk to a col and then up to the summit which was fairly nice. even with going to the south peak it only took 4 hrs. I guess you go left at the fork, though I came down the same old road I went up. lots of posted property up there! |
