All in good shape or being repaired except for Hurricane.
This is the red headed step child of Moosilauke. Making it exotic and loved more by me. No hard to follow with the current overgrowth everywhere in the Whites of Hobble Bush and Raspberries. Spots of wth mud and running water, and intermittent spots of glorious easy walking. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Kali enjoyed this hike. There was good water here and there for sip and dips. |
|
| Bugs: |
Right on the good side of freaking out going through the water and tall grass on Hurricane but I kept it together. |

a trouser sock on Gorge Brook hanging in a tree at the last sure water. |

| Comments: |
A whole bus of youngsters heading for the summit on my way down. I thought I was in wonderland as I walked through a squat break and all the trees were moving and talking. Good for the camp counselors for taking on such a big hike with kids, lots of kids.
Kali and I enjoyed this redline and the clearing clouds as we hiked.
Great day to be outside, hiking and alive. |
