Cabin Trail could use brushing in the Sandwich Wilderness Area.
Old Paugus Trail is badly eroded in places. Kudos to the maintainers for making Old Paugus Trail passable after what appeared to be a massive microburst. |

Found a woman's button-down cotton shirt on the lookout near the summit on Old Paugus Trail. If it's yours, email me with a description and I'll send it to you. |

Nice loop over Paugus. Cabin Trail is so gradual that it feels flat for more than halfway up. Notes on other trails are above, in the trail maintenance section.
There will be a trip report on my blog by late Friday evening.
Congratulations to Sage -- three more 52WAV hikes to go. We may or may not get one more in before we leave for the John Muir Trail next week. If we don't, then we'll resume her 52WAV quest in September and finish before October. |
