Parking/Access Road Notes: No problems.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Lots of small streams from yesterday's rain on the east ledges side of the trail. It was a little slippery coming down with some unavoidable mud and running water.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail blazes are faded on a good portion of the east ledges trail side. On the west side the trail blazes are very well maintained.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy trail for my 10 lb chihuahua 
Bugs
Bugs: For the first 1/2 mile the mosquitoes were brutal. No problems after that point.

Lost and Found: None 
 
Comments
Comments: The hike is steep in sections but should be an easy meander for the average hiker and has lovely views on the summit and east ledges. Nice trail for families and dogs. Children should be watched near the ledges.
