Comments
Comments: From the launch I bushwhacked east for Scott bog peak. I saw some of the cliffs bryan mentioned, in addition to some thick woods. I had to get over a small ridge and drop a short distance before heading up to the swath. Once on the swath, I walked by the peak, thinking I was on a sub peak. I intended to go to Salmon anyway, so this did not worry me. I headed down a very slippery steep section of the swath, with hidden holes and sudden drops. I evetually hit armpit high thorn bushes, which told me that, that was not the way to do Salmon. I headed back up to SBP (about 0.5 mi back). The highpoint is a good jump off the swath on the US side. I took the same route back coming out near the launch.
