Parking/Access Road Notes: parked at the trestle on Rt. 16 in Gorham, just north of Rt. 2 jct..room for about 8-10

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes: small ones step over or rock steps.... 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: AMC crews have worked on this trail this year, adding some wooden steps and native bog bridging, and some stepping stones in a few mud pits...still some deep pits up there but much better than in the past

Dog-Related Notes: this would be a good dog hike, trail runs near the small brook a lot of the way up to the southwest ledge

Comments: wanted to check out the work some crews had done this year and they have improved it (former AT section from Gorham), and not a bad view morning too..went to a lower viewpoint too and Mascot Pond/Mine...there are some biking paths there too which welcomes foot travel, takes some of the gravel road walk out of the equation...
