AMC crews have worked on this trail this year, adding some wooden steps and native bog bridging, and some stepping stones in a few mud pits...still some deep pits up there but much better than in the past |

this would be a good dog hike, trail runs near the small brook a lot of the way up to the southwest ledge |

wanted to check out the work some crews had done this year and they have improved it (former AT section from Gorham), and not a bad view morning too..went to a lower viewpoint too and Mascot Pond/Mine...there are some biking paths there too which welcomes foot travel, takes some of the gravel road walk out of the equation... |
