Comments
Comments: This hike brought us to Cambridge Black Mountain Range in the township of Cambridge, NH, #79 & 80 on the list of 93 fire towers that are standing, once stood or were proposed. We used bushwhacking and logging roads to reach the summit. The fire tower was known to have been on the second peak, but was rebuilt also. Artifact were found on the fourth peak, so it is believed the tower was moved to the higher peak. We did find artifacts on both peaks. It was a great day to be out hiking. Weather was perfect.
We did post a video on YouTube of our adventure for anyone interested in seeing the hike...just click the link.
