This was a redline so I figured I would give it a try. There were supposed to be some Northern Lights activity but good ole Franconia Notch was socked in pretty well. Got to the summit just after 7 and watched the sun drop behind the beginnings of a long thick line of clouds. Did this solo as an out and back not a loop due to time and darkness. I will be back from the other side. This is a great little hike. |
