Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All easily crossed or bridged... That first small bridge after the large one on York Pond broke by my own foot... Think of it as I took the fall for you.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape. The start is still way over grown but I am thinking that will be tamed in the cooler temps to come. Right now, it's full of rag weed so sneeze away or bring Claritin D.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Isis had a great day in spite of some people... She loves it on the peaks.
Bugs
Bugs: What bugs... Too Cold for bugs. Yay! :)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost and nothing found....

Comments
Comments: Nice day for Flags on the 48... trails are on great shape after the over growth. Once in the woods, it's a mix of rocks, mud, water, and dry trail to the top. All water crossings are easy and footings are good for the most part. Enjoyed my 4th visit to the peak and great to see Guy J, Lisa, and Rick F, and Shari R as well as her pup Eddy!
