Parking/Access Road Notes: There were open spots in the small parking area off route 49

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings of Drakes Brook were easy on rocks due to low water levels. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good condition. Minor erosion/wash-outs on the Drakes Brook Trail as it appears the brook spilled over on to the trail during high water. Some downed trees to step over or duck under which is normal in wilderness areas.

Dog-Related Notes: Should be fine for dogs

Comments
Comments: I had never hiked these trails. The trail passed through some nice forest and there were excellent views from Noon Peak, Jennings Peak, and the top of Sandwich Dome. Many of the roots were moist and slippery.
