Day 4 of a 4 day AT backpack/redlining trip. Left Ore Hill Privy (and Campsite), and climbed up to the highpoint of Ore Hill, before descending and climbing again to Mt. Mist. A decent viewpoint is on the right as you descend, and the pond was nice as well, a large group was there. Climbing the spur, we then headed up Webster Slide, which was righteously steep. Decent views from near the summit, and down the southwest view spur. Out to 25, then up Town Line Trail (stopping at Jeffers Brook Shelter to say goodbye to GB and Rerun) and out to Glencliff. A very satisfying and productive trip!
Look for a blog post soon! |
