parked at the start of caverly road off of kings highway in new durham about 4.8 miles north of middleton corners. plenty of room to park out of the way of neighboring driveways at the start of the road which has a gate and numerous snowmobile and atv related signs at its start. |

trails were in good shape and dry. good signage for snowmobile use that is also useful for hiking. pretty active atv use on caverly road to watch out for.
more limited views than last time i was up there after foliage was down, but still some good looks to the blue hills and merry meeting lake from near the highpoint along with the great view to the belknaps from the view ledges. too hazy for long distance views. felt more like july than late september. |
