Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The road into the lot is as rutted and gouged as ever. Low clearance cars (like mine) can make I, but go REAL slow. The leaves have filled a couple of holes. Like this morning, this lot was also not overflowing, though it looked like it may have just barely done so before I got there.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: In good shape, might have been one or two minor step overs but they must not have posed any trouble as I forget if there were any!

Comments
Comments: Part 2 of this two-fer. I wasn't sure if the weather would hold, but it did with one 5-minute light sprinkle a mile up. I ran glad the rain decided to wait until 3:30 or so as originally forecast. The trail is in great shape and I was able to make good time. I was pleasantly surprised to be well below the clouds on both summits, and so the views towards the cloud capped Presidentials were quite nice with the bright foliage on their lower slopes. Both viewpoints gave me their best views yet. A lot of leaves have fallen on this trail, but some remain, for now.

A couple groups were heading up as I neared the bottom, I'm thinking their jeans got wet in the rain an hour later!
